Come early spring, this is my go-to box to chase the Striped bass run! Every fly you need to target large striper as they make their way up the Sabine River and settle in to Lake Texoma.

We recommend a 7wt or 8wt to fish this box. Utilizing a floating or sinking line depending on water depth is key to hone in on where the fish are feeding in the water!

These flies are all hand-tied, so some variation is expected from fly to fly and color can vary depending on current stock.

The Deepwater Clouser Minnow are staples of any striper box, the deceivers and double deceivers are amazing flies for chasing larger striper, the R&R(Redneck Riviera) is a baitfish pattern designed while on a trip to the white river that mimics the perfect shad, Lunch Money’s are a classic baitfish pattern used in all Texas rivers and the Shad Sippers are dynamite topwater patterns that entice large strikes.  This Texoma Striper fly selection has you covered from top to bottom in the water column!
