Chubby Chernobyl
The Chubby Chernobyl is a bulky descendent of the Chernobyl Ant. There are times, especially on Western rivers during the summer and early fall, when trout will come out of the darkest of holes to inhale one of these large foam bugs. They can be tied to mimic most stoneflies and work well during hopper season. They are a must have in you box from June through August. A good Chubby will land correctly and float high and dry every cast. One of the most effective hopper dropper patterns on the market and a staple in my box this time of year!
