Amy’s Ant
With hopper season in full swing, we look to highlight one of our favorite patterns here at Cowtown Fly Co when it comes to slinging big bugs in the fall for hungry trout! The Amy’s Ant pattern was created by Jack Dennis in the late 90’s for the Jackson Hole one fly tournament. It checks a lot of boxes that you want in a foam attractor pattern. Durable, flash, legs, wing, easy to see and floats high on the water. These can be tied in many different colors and are one of our favorites this time of year!
